The company is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The new office will provide staffing in all medical specialties and will be the hub of the company’s psychiatry group. VISTA provides hospitals, medical practices and government agencies with highly qualified physicians who have chosen to work in temporary positions, from a few weeks to several months. The firm, which was founded in 1990, provides a broad range of services to the physicians it places, including credentialing and malpractice insurance. "Regional variations in medical staffing needs are best understood by staffing consultants who are nearby and can work more closely with our clients," explains Mark Brouse, CEO, VISTA. The company’s Atlanta office is located in the Cosmopolitan Center, Suite 100, 6085 Barfield Road. VISTA also has satellite offices in Arroyo Grande, California and in Bristol, Connecticut. The new VISTA Staffing Solutions office will be managed by Torrie Gentry, an Atlanta native with more than two decades experience in the physician staffing industry. Ms. Gentry will lead a team of seasoned recruiters, credentialing personnel, scheduling directors, and staffing consultants. Atlanta resident, Therus Kolff, MD, PhD, created the temporary physician staffing industry in 1979. Dr Kolff is an executive member of VISTA’s Board of Directors. **About temporary physician staffing** Temporary physician staffing is also known as *locum tenens*, from the Latin, "One holding a place."
